A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A27.

According to Hampshire Constabulary, a black Peugeot 206 hit a barrier on the road shortly after the A3(M) junction towards Portsmouth on Saturday night. Firefighters from Cosham and Havant also attended at around 8.40pm to make the scene safe.

According to South Coast Ambulance Service, a 30-year-old man was in a ‘serious condition’ and was taken to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance.
