A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured after he collided with a car.

The 40-year-old from Fareham was riding a red Honda when he collided with a blue Nissan Micra in Locks Road, Locks Heath, at about 9.15pm on Saturday.

The driver of the Micra, a 64-year-old man from Warsash, was uninjured.

The bike’s rider was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police are investigating and are asking any witnesses to call PC Phil Robertson at Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Physique
