SIX motorists have been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in Portsmouth.
Police say an accident involving ‘four to five’ vehicles happened near the Sainsbury’s store in Commercial Road at 1.55pm this afternoon.
South Central Ambulance Service went and firefighters cut the roof off one of the vehicles in order to get passengers out.
There are thought to be no major injuries.
Commercial Road was closed and traffic was diverted via Church Street after the crash happened. Two of the road’s three lanes are now back open.
Long queues remain on the M275.
