RUSH hour traffic was left queueing after a pair of unsecured radiators and several other pieces of debris fell out of a skip on the back of a lorry on the M27.

The items came off the back of the lorry close to junction 11, eastbound, at Fareham, at about 7am this morning.

Police attended the scene and checked over a pair of vehicles that were forced to pull over to the hard shoulder.

The Highways Agency closed one of the lanes to allow the material to be removed safely from the road.

No-one was hurt during the incident and no arrests have been made.

Traffic was flowing freely again shortly before 10am.
