TWO men have been charged with burglary after a petrol station was raided.

The service station on the A259 Main Road at Nutbourne, near Emsworth, was broken into overnight.

The front kiosk window was smashed and cigarettes, phone cards and cash were stolen.

Police have now arrested and charged two men on suspicion of burglary following the incident, which happened at about 3.15am on Sunday.

Daniel Pereira, 20, of Gratwicke Drive, Wick, Littlehampton, and Iain Strange, 24, from Petts Close, Selsey, have been bailed by police to appear at Chichester Magistrates’ Court next Wednesday.
