TWO people had to be freed from a car after a two vehicle collision in Havant.

A man and a woman were helped from a car following the accident in Purbrook Way at around 6pm on Wednesday.

After a fire crew from Havant fire station cut the roof from the car, the pair were put on spinal boards and taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

South Central Ambulance Service said is sent two crews, a rapid response and an ambulance officer to the scene, but was unable to provide any more details about the injured pair.
