A LONG-AWAITED £30m bypass will be decided upon at a council meeting today.

Hampshire County Council’s executive member for transport Sean Woodward will be asked to approve plans for the alignment of the Stubbington bypass and also for the improvements to Gosport Road and Titchfield Road.

If he agrees, the plans will then be submitted to the council in order to secure planning permission.

The meeting takes place today at 2pm in Winchester.
