A PAULSGROVE motorcyclist is fighting for his life following a serious crash.

The 21-year-old man was as thrown from his Sonika motorcyle after leaving the road and colliding with a keep left bollard near to the junction with East Park Lodge on Havant Road, Farlington.

His helmet came off as a result of the accident leaving him with life threatening injuries

He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, where he remains in a life threatening condition.

The road was closed for approximately four hours as crash investigators examined the scene and recovered the motorcycle.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are asked to contact PC Alex Dale at Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Shipwash.
