THE public’s views on Hampshire’s highways and transport services are to be compared with other counties across England as a result of a nationwide survey.

Hampshire County Council is one of 70 local authorities to sign up to a survey that will ask members of the public exactly the same questions across the country. The survey enables councils to compare results, share ideas and identify opportunities to work together.

The questionnaire will be posted to a minimum random sample of 4,500 Hampshire residents in July with results expected to be published later in the early autumn.
