Motorcyclist injured in Portsmouth crash

A ROAD in Southsea has been closed following a collision.

It happened shortly after 12.30pm today on Kings Road, which was closed in both directions between Flint Street and Great Southsea Street.

The collision involved three cars, the fire service has said, one of which overturned.

The South West Ambulance Service was on the scene, with one motorbike, one rapid response car and one ambulance, and one person was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.

The fire service sent two fire engines from Southsea station, with crews on the scene to make sure it was safe.

The road remains closed.
