SEVEN roads will close while Hampshire County Council carries out work to patch and maintain highways.

The closures in Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent will be spread over 10 months from Monday, January 21 but the council said each closure will last only two days.

Cambridge Road in Gosport will close between its junctions with Allenby Road and Nightingale Close.

Findon Road in Gosport will close from its junction with Albemarle Avenue and its junction with Amberley Road.

And Shamrock Close will close from the junction with Willis Road and where it ends to the east.

In Lee-on-the-Solent, Cambridge Road, High Street and Salisbury Terrace will close at their crossroad junction for 10 metres in each direction.

And Manor Way in Lee will close between its junction with High Street and the junction with Grove Road.

The council says it will put up diversion signs during the closures. Contact the highways department on 0845 603 5633 for more.
