TWO roads in Warren Park will be closed for four days to allow for resurfacing.

Hampshire County Council contractors will be resurfacing Swanmore Road and Calshot Road from tomorrow.

The roads will be closed from 8am to 5pm each day.

The work is part of Operation Resilience, a £16m scheme to improve around 400 roads and pavements across the county which have suffered damage because of icy conditions in recent winters.

Councillor Mel Kendal, in charge of transport in Hampshire, said: ‘Good roads are a vital component of Hampshire’s infrastructure, essential for economic progress and the county’s prosperity; and this is the biggest project of its kind. We will do our very best to keep disruption to a minimum and ask people to bear with us.’
