A MAN had to be cut out of his car after a crash in the early hours.

Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to remove the roof of the car after the crash in Felpham Way, Bognor, at about 4am yesterday.

The two vehicles collided at the junction with Ley Road.

Paramedics were called and the driver was removed on a spinal board and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
