The collision involved a Mini, a Volkswagen Polo and a stationary Audi TT. The woman driving the Mini had to be lifted out of the car and was later taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham for treatment.
Ian Joseph, 42, from Gosport, owns the Audi TT and saw the accident happen from the footpath.
He said: ‘The girl in the Mini was very upset.
‘Luckily there was a first-aider who was able to attend her and the driver of the Polo.’
‘I had literally just dropped a suit off at a Chinese dry cleaners and had walked 25ft up the road when I saw it happen.
