A traffic lights failure led to morning rush hour delays for drivers on one of Portsmouth’s main roads today.

Romanse traffic managers said that motorists were being held up for around 15 minutes because of the problem at the roundabout linking the Eastern Road to the A27.

They said the traffic signal failure had caused delays on the eastbound exit slip road.
