Have your say

AROUND one and a half tonnes of metal was shed on the east bound stretch of the M27 this morning.

Motorists experienced delays of up to 40 minutes between between junctions 10 (Knowle) and 11 (Fareham) after a trailer, being towed by a 4x4, over turned and shed its contents across the carriageway at 8.57am.

Lanes two and three were blocked and traffic backed up as far as junction 9.

The carriageway is now open and traffic is flowing freely.

Police say there were no injuries in the incident.

Drivers were directed onto the hard shoulder on approach to the spillage.
