TWO cyclists have been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car near Gunwharf Quays.

Police were called to the junction at St George’s Road and Park Road, near the entrance to Gunwharf Quays, after a car collided with two cyclists.

The cyclists were taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital - one with serious injures and the other with minor injuries.

The road was blocked by police at around 7am but was reopened around 7.24am to clear traffic.

Delays can still be expected.
