Crash causes motorway delays into Portsmouth

Drivers suffered delays getting out of Gosport after two accidents brought the town to a standstill.

The accident happened on A27 Eastern Way, near junction 11 of the M27, at 7.44am.

First, a blue Proton and white Peugeot were involved in the incident.

Shortly after a motorcyclist came off his bike after skidding on oil on the same carriageway.

Police closed the fly-over on the Eastern Way and divert traffic while the oil is cleared from the road.

The incident caused massive delays on the A32 coming out of Gosport, leading to some commuters facing delays of more than an two hours.
