A MAN who died after falling from a bridge over the M27 has been named by police.

Ryan Perks, 25, of Pylands Lane, Bursledon, died after falling on to the carriageway near Hedge End, shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day.

A statement from Mr Perks’ family reads: ‘The family are devastated at the tragic loss of Ryan.

‘He was a gifted, caring young lad with a great love for life, his family and friends.

‘He left company Microlink PC in Chandlers Ford to pursue a career in music, film and photography plus involvement in the launch of a new clothing range.

‘Ryan was a wonderful son and brother who will always be loved and missed – his was a beautiful life cut short.’

Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
