FIREFIGHTERS put out a fiercely burning fire which destroyed four wheelie bins.

Two Southsea fire engines were called to Selbourne Villas, in Clairmont Road, Fratton, after reports of a fire out in the open.

When they arrived a fire in a bin shed containing four wheelie bins was discovered and quickly extinguished.

The call came in at 1.58am, and two teenagers spotted running away from the scene were arrested by police.
