TWO men were arrested at a football match after flares were thrown.

A 22-year-old man from Lee-on-the-Solent was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.

A 24-year-old man from Leigh Park was arrested for disorderly conduct, at today’s AFC Totton vs Gosport Borough Football Club game.

Police were initially called by stewards at 4.15pm, as away fans were throwing flares and there was a scuffle.

Officers escorted the men outside, before making the arrests.

Totton won 3-2.
