There were delays of up to 20 minutes on the M27 this morning after a collision between two cars.

Traffic information ROMANSE tweeted that the incident happened just after Junction 3 going eastbound from Southampton to Portsmouth.

It added that traffic was backing up to Junction 1.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said police were called at 7.45am and that there were no injuries.

All lanes are now open after the vehicles involved were moved to the hard shoulder.

More to follow.
