Police issue appeal as schoolboy with Portsmouth connections goes missing

A WOMAN was trapped by a van in a crash.

The pedestrian was rescued by firefighters who lifted the Ford Transit to free the woman.

It happened in Ripon Gardens, in Waterlooville, yesterday at 11.07am.

Crews from Cosham attended, along with the air ambulance. The woman, 55, was talking and conscious when she was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital.
