There's been plenty of publicity about headliners including Rudimental, New Order, The Specials, Two Door Cinema Club and Bloc Party performing Silent Alarm. All Saints, Ocean Colour Scene and The Zutons plus Lewis Capaldi and Tom Grennan will also be performing.

But do you know what’s happening on some of the other stages on the festival site? Here’s our guide:

ACOUSTIC STAGE

Pull up a hay bale, sit back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this intimate stage. This laid-back area provides the perfect opportunity to see some hugely popular artists up close and momentarily take a break from the hustle and bustle of the main arena.

This year Andy Burrows and Miles Hunt and Erica from The Wonder Stuff headline the Acoustic stage backed by a full line-up of fantastic artists.

SEASIDE STAGE

Set overlooking the Solent, with cruise liners and sail boats going past, you can look forward to watching some of the best up-and-coming talent from Portsmouth and the surrounding area. The brilliant Basement Jaxx will return to Victorious to close the weekend on this stage with an electrifying DJ set – it’s going to be one heck of a seafront party!

BEATS AND SWING BIG TOP

The passionate Portsmouth collective Beats and Swing bring their eclectic and eccentric party to Victorious Festival. Set in a circus-style big top in the main arena; expect an array of music from Hip Hop to Swing and everything in between.

This year’s packed line-up features headliners like Dub Pistols, Slipmatt & MC Chalkie White and Henge alongside quirky acts waiting to be discovered with hula hooping sessions and swing dance workshops thrown into the mix!

WORLD MUSIC FAMILY

Prepare to be transported across the globe when you enter the World Music Village. Vibrant and bustling, there is so much to see and do. Experience performances by top artists from around the world with a line-up including Dakka Skanks, Nono Music and Urban Voodoo Machine. The Dhol Foundation will also be mixing it up with DJs, dhol drummers, tabla and guitar to bring the sounds of Bollywood and Bhangra.

Toca Bonito, Africapella and Fellowship of Groove turn up the African vibes, while there’ll be a reggae dance party with the legendary Zion Train. Plus The Majestic, featuring the legendary vocals of Baba Ras, and Mangoseed with their enthralling fusion of ska, soca, jungle and funk will provide an energetic set not to be missed.

Throughout the weekend be sure to catch The Sages with their strong and melodic east Asian influences. Local favourites Los Hombres are back with their Latin-fuelled festive sounds, and an exciting new addition to the village, The Uni Big Band, will be playing some classic jazz, samba and bossanova numbers.

This year also welcomes a new area to the World Music Village – The Secret Circle. Concentrating on Lana Yoga classes, massage, wellbeing and meditation, it’s the perfect place to escape the festival hustle and bustle.

Look out for performances from dance groups, including Urban Nigerian, Bhangra and traditional Chinese dance, and join in with the drum workshops, yoga and tai chi.

The World Music Village also works with sponsors BIMM (British, Irish, Modern Music) and will showcase some of the up-and-coming fresh young talent throughout the weekend. Look out for Libra Libra, RAHH and Just Like Fruit.

With street food-style stalls and a flea market, The World Music Village is a multicultural metropolis you won’t want to miss.

Showcasing Southsea, Victorious’ stunning seafront setting with a metropolitan backdrop creates the ultimate family-friendly festival experience. Alongside the scenery, experience an enormous free Kids Arena (Saturday & Sunday only), 13 stages packed with entertainment, bustling markets and an amazing atmosphere.
