VICTORIOUS Festival is up for two national awards – but it needs your help clinching success.

The music bonanza, held on Southsea Common this summer, is in the running for best medium-sized and family festival at the UK Festival Awards.

It is competing against a range of others and a public vote will decide the winners.

Victorious Festival co-organiser James Ralls said his team appreciated the recognition.

He said: ‘We have put a lot of effort into it and it’s nice to be recognised by people who know what they are doing in the industry.

‘We are quite new to it.

‘It would be great for us if we won.

‘These awards are famous internationally.’

As reported, a council report has been produced praising the success of Victorious.
