LONG delays were caused on the M27 when two cars collided.
The accident happened at around 9.20am this morning near to Junction 8 for Hamble and Burlseden and saw two westbound lanes shut until 10.50am.
Firefighters from Hightown, Redbridge and St Mary’s were called to the scene, along with police and paramedics.
Drivers of both vehicles, a Renault and a BMW, are believed to be unhurt.
