To celebrate the 25th staging of the Morrisons Great South Run in Portsmouth, The Great Run Company has released a never-before-seen view of the fast and flat 10 mile course.

Packed into a two minute video, runners can get a taste of what they will experience on Sunday, October 25, when they take on the world’s leading 10 mile running event.

The course is steeped in history dating as far back as 1212.  Every year thousands of participants pass naval landmarks, cathedrals and castles. They are also granted permission to run through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of HMS Victory – Admiral Lord Nelson’s flagship which achieved lasting fame in Britain’s greatest naval victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
