PORTSMOUTH residents are urged to have their say on plans to improve sea defences.

The council is seeking views before work starts next year on improving protection around the north of Portsea Island, from Tipner down to Milton.

Drop-in sessions are being held at Anchorage Lodge, Sywell Crescent, Anchorage Park, from noon to 6pm on Thursday, Portsmouth Outdoor Centre in Eastern Road from noon to 8pm on February 25, and Innlodge Hotel in Burrfields Road from noon to 8pm on February 26.
