This village is finally getting 4G mobile internet speeds

Vodafone customers in Waltham Chase can now get 4G as well as more reliable 3G voice signal, the company has announced. 

Residents and businesses in the village will be able to enjoy fast 4G mobile internet, meaning access to the latest news, music and videos on their mobile device, smartphones or tablets.

Visitors to Waltham Chase will benefit too '“ faster data speeds mean less time spent waiting for web pages containing maps and other key visitor information to load. 

Vodafone has also announced that voice coverage has also been improved, bringing clearer conversations, fewer dropped calls and a faster connection time.  

The improvements are part of the telephone company's largest ever UK network and services investment programme which has led to approximately 99 per cent of Hampshire's population now receiving 4G coverage.

'˜That is why we've invested billions in our UK network and services since 2014, and expect to spend around a further £2 billion over the next few years.
