Volunteers needed for Port Solent charity run

A SHOPPING precinct needs volunteers to help with its charity run.

Port Solent is hosting a Charity Rainbow Run next month and needs people to marshall the course.

The 5km race through Port Solent will be raising money for the Rainbow Centre, in Fareham, and is open to people wanting to run or walk the route.

It is also wheelchair and pushchair friendly.

At least 20 volunteers are needed to help on the day which still has spaces available for people wanting to take part.

The Rainbow Centre, on Palmerston Drive, supports children with cerebral palsy and other motor skilled problems as well as adults who have had a stroke, brain injury or have Parkinsons.

The Charity Rainbow Run is on March 25 and registration opens at 9.45am.

To volunteer email event organiser [email protected].
