FIREFIGHTERS are warning people of the dangers of hoax calls after a school pupil set off an alarm.

A crew from Havant fire station was called to Park Community School, in Middle Park Way, at 3pm yesterday.

The call came in when a student set off an alarm, despite there being no fire.

Watch manager Craig Sadler said: ‘We would like to remind people that setting off fire alarms when there is no emergency could be taking us away from genuine calls.’
