Warning of roadworks at Farlington junctions
DRIVERS are being warned about roadworks to improve traffic flow and safety for pedestrians.
Portsmouth City Council is carrying out works on Eastern Road, at the junctions of Grove Road and Fitzherbert Road in Farlington, starting on Monday.
The works, carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm will see traffic unable to turn right into Grove Road. Instead, they will be diverted south along the Eastern Road to the A27 roundabout.
Lane closures are expected during the work which is will see lanes made wider and the traffic lights at Fitzherbert Road changed.
It is expected to last six weeks.
