WATCH: 360° rainbow filmed from Emirates Spinnaker Tower

A rainbow forming a complete circle has been filmed next to the Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

Footage of the full circle rainbow was taken this morning by Bernie Welch, the tower’s technical manager.

He said: ‘I was hanging Christmas decorations when I glanced out of the viewing platform window and was amazed at what I saw.

‘I just grabbed my mobile and started filming. I was definitely in the right place at the right time.

‘It was raining at the time, but what caused the full circle rainbow, I’m not sure. It’s an incredibly rare sight.’
