EIGHT people will be rowing inside a shopping centre to raise awareness of a neo-natal charity.

Alex Ireson, of Vectis Way, Cosham, will be taking part in a rowing challenge for Ickle Pickles. The 500-mile trip starts from the River Thames in London, in to the English Channel and then up the River Seine, to the Eiffel Tower.

The six-day challenge takes place in May. But on April 6, Alex, along with fellow rower Pip Jennings, will complete some training inside Cascades Shopping Centre in Portsmouth to raise awareness of the cause from 11am.
