Waterlooville branch of Sainsbury's launch annual poppy appeal

A SUPERMARKET launched its annual poppy appeal last weekend.

Fundraisers will be at Sainsbury’s in Waterlooville throughout the next fortnight to collect donations for the Royal British Legion.

The supermarket chain is now in its 22nd year of supporting the appeal, and last year managed to raise £2m for the charity.
