A CHURCH hall is to be given a complete makeover to mark its

100th anniversary.

Redecoration of the hall, next to St George’s Church, in Waterlooville town centre, will begin on Thursday.

Some events usually held in the hall will be taking place in the church itself, as will coffee after the Wednesday Eucharists and drinks on Sunday mornings.

Work is expected to be finished by February and the hall will then be back in use.

The mayor of Havant will reopen it with a celebratory lunch.
