Waterlooville cyclist to raise cash for QA Hospital

A CYCLIST is hoping to raise cash to support families with children suffering from developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH).

Gary Milton, from Waterlooville, is cycling 200 miles to fundraise for Spica Warrior – the UK’s only charity dedicated to DDH.

The money he raises will be used to help DDH patients at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

Gary, 49, said: ‘I’ve seen the effects of DDH first-hand and am amazed how little information and support there is out there.

‘I hope the community will get behind me so together we can help DDH patients at the Queen Alexandra Hospital.’

The cycle ride is 200 miles along the Grand Union Canal towpath from Birmingham to Brentford.
