Have your say

Waterlooville library is staging toymaking workshops on August 31.

The event is part of the children’s Circus Stars summer reading challenge to read six books during the summer break.

Children aged four to 12 will be able to make and decorate 3D models and plastic shapes of big tops, clowns, elephants, acrobats and tigers, with the help of a parent or guardian under the expert guidance of artists.

All materials will be provided, including pens, plastic, sequins and collage bits for decorating the toys. Sessions are 12.30 to 2pm or 2.30 to 4pm.

Tickets – £2 for an adult with one child or £3 for an adult with two children – are limited so parents are urged to book early by calling in to Waterlooville library or call (023) 92252608.
