POLICE are seeking witnesses to a two-car crash in Mid Lavant this week.

Sussex Police said it was looking for anyone who was at the junction of the A286 Midhurst Road and the B2141 just before midnight on Tuesday (October 13) and saw a collision involving a white Renault Clio and a black Vauxhall Insignia estate car.

“The driver of the Clio, a 27-year-old woman from Gosport, Hampshire, sustained a broken ankle and was taken by ambulance to St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester,” said a spokesman today (October 16).

“Also taken to hospital with chest pains and bruising was her front-seat passenger, a 19-year-old man from Waterlooville, Hampshire.”

He added the Vauxhall driver, a 64-year-old man from Emsworth, sustained a bruised right knee but did not require hospital treatment.

Anyone who saw the collision or who may have other information was asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1587 of October 13.
