Wave 105 wants 1,000 people for charity appeal

RADIO station Wave 105 is calling for 1,000 people to help raise £100,000 for disadvantaged children.

The charity appeal, called Wave 105’s 1,000 Faces, is looking to find 1,000 listeners to commit to raising £100 each during 2016.

The fundraisers can be individuals, groups businesses or schools.

Wave 105’s managing director Martin Ball said: ‘We are hoping Wave 105’s 1,000 Faces will resonate with our listeners and ultimately, raise a significant sum for much-needed children’s charities and individuals across the south.’

Each participant will 
receive regular communications from Wave 105 Cash for Kids to support their progress towards the total.
