A ROUND Table group is reminding people it is there for those in the community in need of help.

The Portsmouth and Southsea Round Table No.2 said it has noticed a drop in the number of people approaching the group.

Members say the organisation can be approached for financial and non-financial help.

Matthew Dennison, of the Round Table, said: ‘I hope people know that they can access us.

‘We just want to help the community in any way we can.

‘If people need a new washing machine or something along those lines then we can help with the costs of that.

‘But equally the help doesn’t always have to be financial.

‘If people need a hand moving out then we can help with that too.

‘There used to be a time when we had lots of people come forward, but recently it has quietened down again.’
