Hampshire snow: 19 photos of winter scenes and snowmen after heavy snowfall in Hampshire

Residents in parts of the county woke up to a covering of heavy snow this morning.

There was snowfall in Swanmore, Clanfield, Horndean, East Meon and Lovedean as well as in other parts of Hampshire.

In Southampton and Winchester ‘thundersnow’ was reported after a ‘loud bang’ was heard this morning.

Portsmouth did not see any snowfall – the Met Office have explained why the city rarely gets snow.
