Here is the Met Office forecast for the week ahead for the Portsmouth area.

Sunday '“Â Probably the warmest day of the week with temperatures up to 20C. A largely cloudy morning with some sunny spells into the evening, and feeling humid.

Monday '“Â Cloudy day with some sun around mid-morning. Maximum temperature of 18C.

Tuesday '“Â Overcast conditions expected, particularly around lunchtime. The afternoon should be warmer with temperatures as high as 20C.

Wednesday '“Â Cloudy dayÂ with some sunny spells in mid-morning and evening. Maximum temperature of 19C.

Thursday '“Â Sunny most of the day with temperatures up to 18C in the afternoon. Might be cooler early in the morning.

Friday '“Â Cloudy day with temperatures rising to 18C.
