SNOW UPDATE: Chances are it will snow tomorrow, here is what will happen where YOU live

With the '˜Beast from the East' on its way to the UK, snow is forecast to fall across the Portsmouth area.

Here is the forecast for each area in our region.

Snow is most likely to fall on Thursday (when a amber weather warning is in place). Snow is forecast between early morning (6am) until the evening, with temperatures falling to as low as -3C.

Fareham

Temperatures could fall to -4C on Thursday, but it could feel more like -11C thanks to the wind chill factor. Snow could fall from 7am with heavier snowfall expected later in the evening from 6pm until 8pm.

Gosport

There is between a 60 and 70 per cent chance of snow fall across the day from 7am until 7pm. Temperatures will fall as low as -3C and will feel like -11C.

Havant

There is a chance of light snow from 8am tomorrow until 9pm as temperatures fall below freezing.

Waterlooville

There is roughly a 60 per cent chance of snow falling tomorrow morning at 8am, according to the Met Office.

Temperatures will get down to -4C and with the wind chill factor will feel like -12C.

Later in the evening at approximately 8pm, there is an 80 per cent chance of heavy snow.
