SNOW UPDATE: Latest travel and weather this morning

More snow is expected across the Portsmouth area this morning as major travel disruption continues.

The Met Office is forecasting showers this morning but these could turn to rain later this afternoon.

Heavy rain is forecast for about 6pm.

Temperatures will remain low - it could fall to -1C but with the wind chill factor it will feel several degrees colder.

M27 – Busy around Junction 5 at Eastleigh

M3 - One lane has been closed both ways between Winchesterb and Basingstoke due to snow

A3(M) – No reported delays

A27 – No reported delays

A32 Gosport/Fareham – No reported delays

Trains – Many trains have been delayed or cancelled. Check then operator for the latest information.

Bus services – No reported delays

Hovertravel – Shuttle service is running but with an amended timetable.
