TRAVEL AND WEATHER: Strong winds forecast as weather warning comes into force

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind, which will be in place from 9am today until 7am tomorrow morning.

Drivers have been warned of possible travel disruption and to plan ahead when travelling.

Mild temperatures are expected in the Portsmouth area today, with a high of 14C forecast.

There will be some sunnier spells among the cloud this afternoon, although there is a high chance of rain across the area this evening.

TRAVEL

M27 – Normal delays building eastbound between junction 11 (Fareham) and junction 9 (Whiteley).

A3(M) – One lane blocked at Clanfield on the A3 due to a broken down vehicle. 10 minute delays from Waterlooville.
