The T-Girls (left to right): Beverly Gale (16), a receptionist, of Maple Tree Avenue, Horndean; Marilyn Inglis (20), a nursery nurse, from Beaconsfield Avenue, East Cosham; Yvonne Hutton (19), part-time model and art student; and Sue Adcock (16), a model, from Lower Crabbick Lane, Denmead.

As a 20-year-old she was one of four T-Girls for the day helping promote the old Tricorn shopping centre.

It was the occasion Jimmy spent a day at the centre, attracting big crowds in a bid to boost its popularity. And it was Marilyn’s job to look after him.

She wondered if we could find the picture of the T-Girls and perhaps one of JY at The Tricorn. Happy to oblige Marilyn.
