THIS WEEK IN 1999: No bones about it but Pompey-mad

Some people may show their allegiance to their football team by wearing a T-shirt but Pompey-mad Justin Warner was supporting Pompey by bearing their colours on his artificial leg.Â

The father-of-two from Gosport had the Pompey shirt moulded on to his prosthetic after his leg was amputated.

He said: '˜I was thinking about wearing my normal false leg and carrying this one under my arm.

'˜But I don't think stewards would let me in to the matches.'
