A PROJECT designed to help people with dementia lead as full and active a life as possible has received a major funding boost.

Bognor-based Frame of Mind is set to receive £29,000 from West Sussex County Council.

The project already supports people with mental health issues and learning disabilities remain active members of the community.

The dementia strand is a new addition and will help people with concentration, complex problem-solving and self-discipline.

Cllr Michael Brown, who oversees finance and resources at West Sussex County Council, said: ‘Supporting this already successful project means people living with dementia will be able to feel part of the community.’
