When two Grahams resulted in Paignton
I wonder if residents of Paignton Road, Copnor, know the street was originally going to be called Graham Road?
In 1925, the postmaster realised there was already a Graham Road in the town. After consulting the owners along the road, Paignton Road was agreed.
It now fits nicely with all the roads named after west country resorts: Salcombe, Seaton, Sidmouth and Teignmouth.
